This ring makes stranded colour work knitting so much easier. Thread the two different colours through the ring and the stay tensioned and separate from each other whilst knitting colour work. When I am only using two colours, I use one in my right hand and the other colour in my left – I still use the ring to keep the left yarn tensioned and in place for continental knitting. It can be used for crochet as well.
