I will be teaching this class in the Karoo, at the Karoo Winter Wool Festival. You will receive a wooden Lojan (imported from the Netherlands) drop spindle as well as fibre to spin. Techniques: carding the fibre making rolags to spin with spinning plying demo how to set the yarn project ideas/examples This class is aimed at beginners who do not want to get too technical but want to try spinning and have fun mixing some colourful rolags. The focus will be on getting you spinning a single ply yarn, but there will be explanation as how to ply etc. Saturday 4th July 2026: 3-6pm, Festival terrain, Nourse Stable 2
